Yonex Astrox 100 ZX frame is made of High modulus graphite, Tungsten and Nanomesh material. Adding tungsten, Nanomesh into High modulus graphite
provides better weight to strength ratio, better power, rigidity and overall racket performance is increased significantly. )
To improve the strength and speed to frame, unique combination of frame cross section tested by Yonex badminton to finally obtained the best one. To get
racket frame strength box type cross section is developed while to
get better swing speed, aero type frame cross section is used.
Further, to improve the aerodynamics of overall racket, Yonex Badminton use the extra slim shaft
(Slimmest shaft in the history of Yonex) . Thin shaft is designed for better aerodynamics and perfect reflection. Slim and thin shaft helps in powerful smash which is achieved by extended swing speed and reflection of shaft.
Astrox 10 ZX is developed with REXIS shaft concept. REXIS Shaft is high performance shaft with light weight characteristics which could be achieved by Nanometric material.
Yonex used state of the Art Namd Technology in this racket. In this technology, Nanometer material is directly built with graphite material to get better adhesion among the graphite fiber. Graphite fibers are very brittle in nature and in order to get best property to suitable for high performance racket, resin is used the bind it properly.
Namd technology optimized the energy stored in racket shaft so player will get better reflection and shuttle hold for accuracy and control.

An improved Grommet pattern for single pass technique is used in Astrox 100 ZX model. Traditionally, Racket string at intersection passes two strings from single grommets. This condition restricted the string movement results into string durability issue along with power loss.
Yonex developed the Isometric concept in which Head shape of frame is optimized which provide 7% increased sweet spot to players.
Single pass grommets technique allows only single string to pass from grommets (this adds more grommets with properly designed position for grommets on frame) which results into better string movement.
