Does this bat need knocking and oiling
Asked on 23 Sep 2019
A
Any Cricket bat which is designed for leather cricket ball required proper oiling and knocking of bat. SO ,Thrax Blade English Willow Cricket Bat required proper oiling and knocking before you go for play.Put the bat oiling on bat surface and keep it for 1 day then start the knocking process.Knocking should be done mostly on edges and toe. Do it with gentle wooden mallet impact and gradually increase the impact. This helps in willow compress and willow grains settlement which finally offer massive power from bat.
