Proper bat care is essential to maintain the performance and longevity of the SS Master 1000. Despite being crafted with high-quality standards, players must care for the bat both before and after use. Proper oiling with Linseed Oil is vital for a new cricket bat.

Apply two coats of bat oil, allowing 24 hours for each coat to absorb, with extra oil applied to the toe and edges. After oiling, knocking the bat is crucial. Use a wooden mallet to start gently hitting the toe and edges, gradually increasing the impact based on the wood surface. This knocking process should be done for at least 48 hours to ensure the bat is game-ready.
